Let’s make our voices heard—through song and collective action! Join us for Choir & Canvass: an event to sing in community and canvass for our next Mayor, Zohran Mamdani.
All experience levels are encouraged!
Led by Brooklyn’s own Kenter Davies, we’ll come together to sing a series of short rally songs that he has written inspired by Zohran’s policies and initiatives. As we raise our voices in collective harmony, we’ll find opportunities to play, connect, and build upon this movement to make our city a more affordable and welcoming place to all.
When you RSVP for Choir & Canvass, you'll automatically be assigned to a canvass destination. After we’ve sung in the beautiful Prospect Park, we’ll make our way to that canvassing location (singing along the way, of course) and then take to the streets! Let’s share our voices with our fellow New Yorkers, in more ways than one.
Kenter Davies is a choral facilitator and vocal arranger based in Brooklyn. You may have seen or heard about the many One-Day Choirs that he has led throughout our city over the last few years! They are musical gatherings free from perfection, expectations, and judgement where humans get to sing for the love of singing. He blends humor, passion and heart to create spaces where folks can be fuller expressions of themselves through the empower act of finding their voices.
Remember to vote on November 4th and that the early voting window is October 25th-November 2nd. Sing with you soon!
